Very soon to be classed as a Premier Cru, this vintage comes from a plot fully facing south at an altitude of 400 m above sea level.

It achieves the right blend of rich substance and a striking minerality.

The plot is north-facing.

This was a real boost in 2016, because it gives this wine a remarkable minerality, a very pure aromatic expression and a tautness at the finish that makes it more elegant.

A fully south-facing plot, giving this future Premier Cru greater ripeness, perfectly balanced by the liveliness of the vintage.

The result is a nose of very ripe fruit, an opulent but slightly contained palate and a long finish that expresses its potential.

With more still in hand, the nose is discreet with aromas of fruit spread.

In the mouth, the Clairette rose grape brings fine, elegant white fleshy fruity and glazed citrus fruit before revealing a magnificent mineral finish.
